NLP stands for Neurolinguistic Programming. It is a set of psychology tools to deal in a down-to-earth and practical way with behavioural and emotional challenges. NLP coaching will ask you where you are now and where you want to get to. It then works with you to chart and make that journey.

Since its inception in 1972 in California, NLP has been expanded and enriched by leading innovators and all those who practise it. There are various, often highly technical definitions of NLP, some relating to communication, others to leadership, training and team building.

Reflecting this evolution, NLP has developed its own extensive jargon. While this facilitates communication among experts, in client work NLP Tool Up avoids opaque terminology and brings you instead a straightforward user-friendly NLP approach.

NLP is used in many different settings, eg. psychotherapy, accelerated learning, mediation, sales etc. Hospitals and police forces often provide NLP communication training to their staff. One of its more dramatic applications is in hostage negotiations.
